Fed by their roots in counter-culture, street food, street art, and proper underground music, the multi-award winning Scranners Arms brings something original to the Northeastern food scene.
We go way back with the guys. Like us, the owners have a history in street art—that’s their thing. So we started there by creating a wordmark to deface. (It doesn’t matter that you can’t read it; it’s all about style.). We coined a brand voice that laughs at the nonsense spilt by gastro pubs and bland food brands—ours is the jib of a lass from Byker. Food photography with a punch, shows a brand that’s real, all coming together to shape an ‘identity with attitude’ that smashes through the local restaurant brands by knowing where they are from, having fun, and not taking themselves too seriously.
They can back this bravery up with record sales and battle-winning burgers; we would never project an image—that’s not us, and it’s not them. It’s great working with Daz and Stu, true innovators and proper one-offs.
